These particular ones were from Logic, IIRC. Came stock with the program. I don't use it anymore, but I converted some of the samples for my own use.

So freakin what? WTF does that have to do with anything? That doesn't mean it still can't sound good.

You could paint a guitar and still not be finished with all of the coats of paint and it still look good.

sounds like nearly a done deal to me. yeah, you posted a POD 5150 sound versus a real 5150 sound one time and I could barely tell the difference. the internet bean counters like to say they can hear a pin drop from 800 miles away, but sometimes I wonder.

not everyone can get away with it - I cite king diamond's use (or rather, his guitarist's usage) of a POD on a recent album that sounded distant/kinda low fi.

Sounds good man good job on the recording and playing. I didn't think the intro was working well though, it sounds a little disjointed and doesn't really lead you into the song.
Vocals will obviously make it another animal - I'd like to hear it then.

Now that sounds absolutely amazing! The tone is really full, powerfull, ripping!
The riff is partly "resurrection" by Halford. But doesn't change the awesomeness of the tone and playing!

I'm a relatively big fan of Killswitch...specially TeoH...and honestly listening to both your track and "Rose of Sharyn" and just focusing on the guitar playing...I liked yours more. By far.

I'd love to see either a really good vocal on that track, or otherwise just keeping it instrumental. I find too many people are willing to put crappy vocalists on top of otherwise unbelievable music. Specially when it comes to metal.
