Morely bad horsie issues

I got a bad horsie (original, not the BH2) a few months ago and I love it. The only problem I have noticed is that if I put my tube screamer (maxon version with true bypass) there is a loud pop when I turn it on and off. I assume this has to do with the internal buffer. Is this normal???? If i use a boss pedal there isn't a pop, just anything with a regular foot switch. Any thing I can do about this or just live with it??

try placing the pedals in different positions in the chain

Try using a battery if you are using a power adapter. If it goes away it is the power supply.
