Morrisson Am/Bm/C jam

Re: Morrisson Am/Bm/C jam

It's one fine piece of music and one of your best work..it stands out to the other clips..very, very good!

Love that. I'm in tele GAS mode and that tone is the reason. I had a tele previously that I sold because I couldn't get that kind of thick lead tone from it. What can you tell us about your set up - guitar, pups, amp.

Nice work

Nice work

Tele is an assembled Tele: a Warmoth body and a luthier crafted neck.
The amp simulator is a Podxt live. The pickups are Lollar Specials.

There isn't anything particular about my setup, I think that I could get the same result with a APS/JD Seymour Duncan combo (actually, I might go that way soon...) i.e. a slightly "darker" and warmer set of pickups. The other thing is to get a bass-friendly tone, so that the mid to mid-low frequencies are enhanced as opposed to the treble (which is what causes the "ice-pick" and thin sound which put you off originally).

thanks

Marin

P.S thanks Rid and Adrian for your comments.
