Mosaic pin fret markers

A while ago I was looking at a knife making supply website. It just now hit me that the mosaic pins used for knife scales (handles) would make for some awesome fret markers on the right build. A google image search didn't turn up a whole lot of results for these being used as fret markers. Anyone ever see anything like this?

Here's a quick internet image if you don't know what I'm referring to with the mosaic pins:

That could be awesome. These days, playing a lot in low light conditions, I'm thinking a little more utilitarian with glow in the dark markers becoming more appealing.

Love it... definitely cool on some builds, just a matter of using them tastefully.

Yeah, Ive seen those used. A cool guit that I saw awhile back had the bottom part of bullets used as fret markers. The knobs were the cylinder from a revolver..
