Most Gibson pots are 500K right?

I have just been wondering since the Sg Gothic I have does not say that only Gibson USA on it.

They are 300k, except on some Historics.

Currently they combo them on the Les Pauls. 300K volumes and 500K tones. But that is for the Production Les Paul's, I'm not sure about their other models. My 93 Studio, however, came with 300K all the way around. I guess it depends on the model and the year.

I don't see why they go with 300k. Humbuckers aside from the JB and Jazz should be 500k.

Mine were 300k all around on my LP (mid-90's).

I think it has more to do with the way Gibson want to Jazz sounds terrible with 250k pots, it sounds like somebody threw a blanket over the amp. :burnout:

i just so happen to have a JB in mine, so im glad they use 300k
