Wasnt sure if this had been done recently.. Or what topic to put this under... So, aimed here.. Ok, I dont want to go into my med stuff too much, and Im VERY embarassed to admit this, but Ive got some medical things going on that are making me alil more... Um.. sensitive. than normal.

Anyhow, I have heard so much amazing music over the years and I KNOW there are so many incredible songs and artists Ive not had the joy of enjoying...
However, right now, based on what my lil pea brain can think of right now..
My favorite solo is Master of Puppets, cuz it just kicks As..tronimically..
The solo that moves me the most and nearly brings me to tears.... I Comfortably Numb by Gilmour. It is, yes a playing tour de force, but the power of it, just makes me so emotive...

Also, for years I have loved this song.. I had NEVER heard of them until I got a bootleg cassette of a bunch of stuff and had this on it.. I searched for 20 years and finally found something on them.. (someone finally loaded to youtube.) There was another band by same name and I always found them. Anyhow.. Im sure this may not be big to you all, but for some reason, the solo in this song has always deeply moved me..

Regarding moving solo's , among my many fave's is this one (starts @ 1:45 mins) ...especially this "Live in Brasil '98" version for some reason..

This is the one for me, starting at 10:25, right after Carl McCoy's words of farewell. There are many more fabulous solos I can listen to all day and have goosebumps, but this is something special for me. There are many times when I play this song and I too get a bit more "sensitive" so to say then one would expect. Especially during the solo.

 
I don't think there are YouTube videos for all the solos that move me. Usually they are odd solos that are not necessarily famous or technically difficult, they just have a choice of notes or a sound to them that feels really good to me. This isn't all, it's just off the top of my head. I had a mix tape somewhere of just solos, I'm trying to remember what was on it.

That was amazing! What struck me is that he did the opposite of what's common and expected. Played mostly up high then went lower to climax, played mostly loud then played more quietly at the end to climax.

That was SO amazing. I’ve seen that clip quite a few times but it still gets me every time.
Gary is the perfect blend of blues emotion and rock aggression to me.
I’d love to be able to do what he does.
 
Yap I had forgotten musicians could be that masterful to take u on a ride and keep you on the edge of ur seat.
