Most tube/tone sesitive amps

Well, from what I've read some amps are a lot more sensitive to the valves in the pre-amp as far as changes in tone than others. I read especially a lot about my Laney AOR Pro-Tube being one of those. What other amps you guys know about that have such quality about?

MESA BOOGIES all the way

Russian 6L6's really make them middy and nice and nasty, 6L6GE's make them very balanced with a nice edge. You need to tweak them ALL DAMN DAY and try every tube combo and pre-combo. Let's not even talk simul-class lol.

Then there is the Pre's, russian vs chinese vs etc etc etc all change the tone. Then you have to set the damn amp using a microscope lol. I have had 3 models that did this to me.

I have also wondered about Marshalls with 6550's v El34s, vs 5881s. I was shocked to find my friend's beloved 83 JCM800 that I think ROCKS has 6550's. many people say 5881's in Marshalls of the 90s sound really bad. Some have said they sound GREAT in 70s Marshalls? Who knows?
