Most Useful 2-Humbucker Wiring?

Hi everybody!

I'm going to have a custom guitar (LGM Leviathan) built which will feature two humbuckers (4-wire), 1 tone, 1 vol pot. The pots could include a DPDT push/pull switch. And presumably I'll end up with a 5-way 4-pole "superswitch".
This offers a lot of possibilities but which wirings are actually useful? I'm thinking about series/parallel combinations (don't like coil tapping that much). Using the push/pull switches for ser/par switching might interfere with combinations that use one coil of each pickup.

Now, what are your preferences or suggestions?
Thanks!

I think the way my dual HB Strat is wired is the most vesatile:

3 way pickup selector

master volume & master tone

2: on/on/on switches...one for each pickup for series, parallel or single coil
