Hey guys, I've got an Epi LP that currently has jpage wiring setup with the whole lotta humbucker gold cover set. It has gold hardware which it came with and I'm not a fan of gold so I'm switching it all out and figured this would be a good time to explore different pickup combinations.
I love all the options I can get from the JPage wiring, and WLH set is pretty nice but I would like to find a combination that is a little more on both ends of the spectrum if that makes sense. Both pups in the WLH set sound very close to each other so I guess what I am looking for is a little more extended range from both ends that will still work well tonally with the options that the JPage wiring gives.
I play everything from classic rock, to 80's and modern metal, to 90's alternative and grunge.
I was thinking about a 59 bridge and an A2P neck, or maybe a JB bridge and 59 neck (not a fan of the Jazz).
What would you guys suggest?
