Very well done.

I loved the song. You get such a good intonation with a slide. How did you practice playing slide to be able to keep your intonation, vibrato and muting this good? I'm very curious.

Very soulful. Way to go! Fantastic.

Thanks Butch, that's very kind of you to say so. I have in fact been playing professionally for decades now, but in Australia ... so ... need I say more? I moved here from Canada in 75, and despite the downside of being so far away from the 'real' world of music, it's well worth it. It's the last bastion of sanity in many ways, and a lot warmer than my hometown, Montreal.

See there? I knew it....

When I play slide, I sound like I"m forcing it; probably am. There are few who sound they they were born to play slide. You sound so natural and fluid. If you aren't on a label, you should sumbit a demo to Favored Nations.:bigok:

Thanks again, Butch. I did in fact do an album for WEA Records many years ago ... what a bunch of idiots you have to deal with though, once you've done your bit in the studio! I had no time for them or for doing any more. Not worth the headache.
