Mr. Nasty - Moonlight Serendade LPC w/A2P

This is the Mr. Nasty EP The Fine Art of Self Destruction from 1992. Most of it is my old '86 LP Custom with an Alnico II bridge into a Randall RG head and a Laney botton with Fane 25's. I am also using my LP Special with SP-90-3b and likely a Heritage LP with a PG bridge is on something here as well. These are all 128k MP3's and ... ahh don't listen to LAMF anywhere you could get into trouble for playing something inappropriate.

The recording is great and the guitars rock.. you guys must have had a blast in that band. The singer sounds a little like Vince Neil and even a little Steven Tyler in there. Nice job recording the drums too.

That dancing banana was in time with the song.. heh heh

The dancing bananas are always in time with my music  :D

Yeah we had too much fun in that band that's why I'm in computers now :friday: Hey my singer will love the references he's a huge Tyler fan, most folks think he sounds a lot like Taime from P-ussycat, understandably we were compared to them a lot but it was just a parallel life I guess.

Those lyrics are pretty much from a day in the life back then, we were the poster children for misfit bands. We still can't function like real people but we try hard. I'll put up a few more tunes later if I can, I actually will try and post the 3 songs from the EP which we put out after the album, much better stuff IMO. Scott F had one on his site but the link doesn't seem to work anymore so since I have a little room on the web now I should be able to put it up and anyone interested can download it.

Thanks guys

Hey Scott , Them tunes are all HOMERUNS:headbang: :bigthumb:
Gotta luv the Lyrics:cussing: The L.A. sound w/t N.Y. Attitude.
Did you guys play clubs on the the Island ? The name MR. Nasty
rings a bell. I used to print the Island Ear, So maybe that's where
I heard the name? Hard to remember to much about them Daze.

Thanks Ken, glad you liked the tunes. Yeah if you printed the Ear you knew our name. We were in just about every Sundance ad there was for about 3 years. We played most of the rock clubs in the area but Sundance was our home.

I can still smell the place :bad:

Man some really good rockin shiz. Enjoyed all the tracks. Like your drummer a lot! Lays down the beef.

Guys I can't tell you how much I appreciate the good words. This stuff is near and dear to my heart but for the most part it's been hidden away for a while. I have a chance to do some real cool things with Mr. Nasty again suddenly and I am so pumped up. If it comes to be it will be an amazing thing for me but the fact that you guys are digging it and that the opportunity is even available still really has me feeling pretty damn good these days, thanks, really I couldn't say it enough.

Kev - he is one hell of a drummer and one of my closest friends. He plays in a S.Fla band called Level It if anyone is down that way.
