I know there are 1 or 2 other places I could put this, but I know everyone who knows him will see it here.
treyhaislip went beyond the call of duty for me. He understood my problem about playing too loud in a Condo, and knew this would help me A Lot! Out of pure generosity, he decided to send me a great carlsguitar.com Speaker Soak, without even asking. It came today, I will use it tomorrow.
I wanted to thank him publicly, he said he has had his fair share of bad luck, but he also said he had caught a few good breaks too.
So this is his way of "paying it forward" to me, just a fellow forumite who could use this. He lives way the hell and gone from me, took pains to check up on it's arrival time, packed it like a factory expensive item. Didn't even ask for shipping and handling - in fact, told me not too. He even went so far as to pm me back many times, and explained how to use it, make sure it didn't get hot, no more than 2 hours, keep it away from flammables, etc.
So I wanted him to know how much I appreciate that, in public, so every one knows how cool this guy is. In the old days, he'd be known as a "Stand Up Guy" ....these days I guess the slang would have to be "He Da Man". Thanks treyhaislip.
