What would you pay for a mint condition version III Muff with its original box?
One of these ones:

Re: muff experts....

Not sure, but there was one on Ebay UK last week and they were asking for £200...

If it's a version 3 then I think it should be the same circuit as the ram's head circuit?? Unless you can get a really good deal I think I'd go with a clone.

Saying that, it would be a really cool score! :D

Re: muff experts....

I love using my hard wood on the old ladies’ muff and then just mixing it up a bit to make sweet music!

heheheh - Could not resist joking about this one.

Re: muff experts....

yeh its the same as a rams head...but they all varied a lot. I reckon i could prolly build a better sounding muff with all the mod cons for less than 60 bucks...but it'd be kinda cool to have a vintage one.

Re: muff experts....

Yeah, I know what you mean...I feel the same way, I could easily build a ram's head clone and get a great sounding Muff but it would be really cool to own an original.
