Yeah I saw that last night... the black one really hides the fact that its a jazzmaster. Its fantastic. Ergonomics look good too.

Has that cool Mark Morton vibe without the blockiness and its 25.5 . the only thing I dont like about his guitars are the position switch but I dont think one is gonna be neck yngwieing/petruccing leads with a EMG 60. heh.

Seeing Jim Root's interviews unmasked last really humanizes that guy... its a shame to see him playing in two ****ty bands. Seems like a funny guy.

Well, Id say those two ****ty bands have made him a very rich and famous guy!! haha

The new JP neck thru looks kinda futuristic. About the only MM guitar I like is the Armada, cept the price...

I saw them at NAMM but I didn't try them out. I wanted to use a real amp and all EB had was a bunch of iPads.

EBMM seems to come out with a new Petrucci variation every year or so... I can't keep up with all of them.
