Music Man SMB-5d question

hi,

will the SD Music Man 5 (SMB-5d) pickup work properly with a wide string spacing?

my neck has a nut width of 2 3/16" (55.5mm) and the width at the 24th fret is 3 1/8" (79.4mm).
