They seem to running right at the 300.00 mark for a finished neck w/ nut .Whats the word on these necks, yo?

Re: Musikraft necks?

Why not the prefinished neck, TGWIF? I understand that pre-cut nuts can be a waste of time, but wouldn't having the neck finished be a good thing?

It's not that it's a bad thing but in my experience most places that sell necks or bodies AND offer in house finishing don't do both well...it could have just been some bad luck on my part but I have found that I can get a higher quality finish thats more to my liking if I have it done other places.

I love the body I got from them, and am interested to try one of their Charvel-spec necks...

I've gotten a couple of custom Strat necks from Musikraft and they are amazing. Definitely an improvement in sound and feel. They look great too - very nice wood.

I ordered the Birdseye Maple/Rosewood and the one piece Birdseye Maple 50's models, both with a 10 inch radius and 22 jumbo frets. Also got the `59 taper and 1 11/16 inch nut width. Not exactly your standard Fender specs, but they have the best feel I could personally hope for. That's one of the nice things about Musikraft - you can combine whatever specs you want and they'll build it for you, so you can get that perfect match if you know what you're looking for.

The necks have made my guitars a lot more lively sounding and fun to play. They feel so nice that I really enjoy playing them a lot more & have a hard time putting them down now!

I have used musikraft before too and they seem to be pretty good. I did all the finish work though.
