My mate had one for a day...he be da biggest pedalwhore on der planet...he hated it
Fizzy buzzy, nasty and kinda thin.....well he has some rather good pedals, Klon, Zendrive, KR Gupsy Fuzz, Prescription fuzzes, old Tonebenders and all that stuff

I have one and use it regularly. The overdrive is definitely different than any others you have heard. Not a Tubescreamer clone, not a Blues Driver, Fulldrive, etc. super-transparent drive, and not really heavy. It's its own thing. I think it sounds fairly thick, lets your guitar tone come through a bit, but not a ton, still has dynamics, and can get a bit of a fuzz-type tone with the right manipulation of the knobs. It is a bit of a darker overdrive, but if you crank the tone knob, you get a ton of treble, but its still got the dark twinge to it.

It does take a bit of playing with to get the drive to sound just right, but when you do, it sounds amazing! Holdsworth uses it, so it can't be that bad.








O, and the boost is great!

ive never found a two in one pedal like that that i was happy with to be honest. im not saying ive tried a lot of stuff or anything, but yeah. if you have an overdrive or a boost that you really like then id focus more on finding one to compliment the other.

one of the best combos ive found so far is two pedals i picked up recently in a trade. both from catalinbread, the super chile picoso and the mkII silverkiss. the silverkiss can act as either a boost or a light to medium overdrive (not both at once). pair that with the fat boost from the picoso and you have a tonal bliss, lol.

I agree as long as you keep the drive down it's great otherwise it can get a bit fuzzy and the boost is very similar to the Fulltone Fat Boost IMHO ! Plus unlike some twin pedals, you can use each channel independently.

I agree as long as you keep the drive down it's great otherwise it can get a bit fuzzy and the boost is very similar to the Fulltone Fat Boost IMHO ! Plus unlike some twin pedals, you can use each channel independently.

You have to tweak the the knobs just right if you want to crank the gain, but I usually keep it low-middle and use the output if I want a bit more drive (Tube amps rock!)

Hmmmm...

I already have an old RAT and a Microamp... both of 80s vintage...

The Bradshaw connection has me intrigued though... might be a cool swiss army pedal but if it's a RAT & microamp then I already have those! Why would I need another version? lol

I really don't think mine sounds that much like a Rat. If you have the opportunity, give one a shot, could be what you're looking for.

Can't remember where i read the Rat/Micro Amp connection !
