MXR iso brick

I had the mini iso brick but it just quit working one day, so I hope the big one is better!

Just got one today for my board.
Any opinions?

There's literally hundreds of reviews online. It's a top rated power supply with a pretty solid track record, pretty much 4.8-5 stars wherever you look it up.

Personally, I'm really digging the Harley Benton "Iso" power supplies, especially for the price (I got 2 for the price of the MXR), but I had looked at the MXR also.

I don't think you'll regret it at all as long as the specs and size work for your application.

Its really more than I need. But i had a gift card to the local music shop and they stock MXR. So after the card it cost me $59...cant complain.
I was looking at the baby MXR 5 output power supply but the guy said its not truely isolated..more like a 1 spot( that im finally ditching)

Well, you definitely can't beat it for that price! Also, in my experience, it's MUCH better to have a power supply with more outlets than you need than to come up short down the road and have to daisy chain everything when your setup changes.

I have the MXR ISO brick M-238 and used it for several years. It is loaded with everything I needed, handled 9v and 18v pedals, all different mA ports I needed. Worked great. It didn't solve every noise problem, it's not a miracle box (some live setups are quite complex and difficult to trace every problem), but it worked as advertised and made individual pedals run correctly and sound their best. Even had a couple ports that let you simulate a dying battery by attenuating the voltage. $59 is a screamin' deal. I think I paid $129 for mine.

Yea it solved my hiss at high volume.
At my normal gig volume the thing i had was ok.
But when i would turn the master up to the sweet spot my pedal chain had a loud hiss. That is gone. So Im Happy.
Not to mention the one spot was hokey and periodically Id have to diddle with the pack to daisy chain connector.
