MXR Rockman Pedal

I would bet a lot of people are buying them simply for resale. MXR will likely keep producing them and they will be easier to find and less expensive on the secondary market. Patience Grasshopper.

Not following that logic. Why would anyone do that since as you rightly explain the secondary market prices will be lower?

In Norway? I doubt it: we are not EU members, so there is only a tiny market to sell to without duty being added.

I'm really surprised that these seem to be selling so well: in Norway there is at present one left for sale in the entire country from what was at first a pretty decent stockpile. I'm not purchasing anything right now, but I hope these remain in production long enough for me to actually get one.

Who knew all the Norwegian Black Death frost Metal dudes were closet Amanda / HollyAnn fans????

Yeah, most high end modelers these days can model a Rockman pretty well if you can create a profile or ToneMatch with them. But I'd imagine most people with those devices aren't after Rockman rigs, but I bet they exist.

I have a couple of passable Boston presets in my Helix.

I wanted a Rockman X100 for years. It went out of production, then they released a lesser version. I bought one, and it was :ok:

However, it was defective. I sent it back and bought a Tubescreamer.

I found this year's offerings at NAMM to be a snooze fest for the most part. This pedal is probably the only thing I found appealing but I really don't have a need for it.

Berringer had some cool pedals this year and I dig the Peavey stuff. Once again I am waiting for the NAMM hype to die down and I might buy a Decade pedal.

Me too, but most of the coverage is about the big companies. When you go, the really cool stuff is the stuff that doesn't get any coverage.
