My Kramer isn't bass shy or anything, it's quite full and balanced actually. At least for a guitar like this. :)
Body wood is poplar. Made before they started with super heavy maple as in the Barettas.

It was great with the A2's into my Dumble klone using a Wampler Pinnacle, but now that I rely on the 5150's distortion, things changed a bit. It sounds quite awesome now with the old DSD, but it's fun to mess around with stuff...

Current 5150's are not biased cold like the Peaveys, so that's no problem.

Oookay, got the magnets a few days ago and finally found the time to do the swap, put the unoriented alnico 5 in the Custom Custom and it did wonders!

Sounds great, way less compressed and a much tighter bottom end.

I just recorded a short Panama clip using it:



And yup, the 50watt 5150 III is quite decent. :)
