My Kramer isn't bass shy or anything, it's quite full and balanced actually. At least for a guitar like this.
Body wood is poplar. Made before they started with super heavy maple as in the Barettas.
It was great with the A2's into my Dumble klone using a Wampler Pinnacle, but now that I rely on the 5150's distortion, things changed a bit. It sounds quite awesome now with the old DSD, but it's fun to mess around with stuff...
Current 5150's are not biased cold like the Peaveys, so that's no problem.
