This thread is so neurotic that it makes my skin crawl. I can't believe you guys spend so much time stressing about trivial detail and nuances when you could be playing rocknroll music. I have amps as old as my dad with their original tubes that play and sound great. **** the internet, the forums, and the spec sheets. Long live rocknroll.

Oh, I love the amp. I was just trying to figure out if I was going to address potential issues proactively or wait for them to surface. I guess I've got four years and eight months.

Make sure you use softer, thin picks to decrease the string volume going to the pickups therefore the voltage to the amp to stave off that inevitable explosion! /s
