its an 82' 504 50W model, HOLY ****E!

i think i saw god, i can't find my socks, they got blown clean off....

its awesome, sounds GREAT!

POWER, dynamics.... its pretty clean but sounds HUGE and full, high end is really well defined, but not harsh at all, really pleasant.

my bro's strat really gets a 'live at leeds' vibe...

i just saw a youtube vid of someone covering the shine on..solo through a 504 and it sounded beautiful.

if you like the biacrown, you should check out a Hylight Electronics built HIWATT!

They also made 100 watt, 200 watt and 400 watt amps.

Incredible amps.

I am starting to like the tone of the newer Hi-Gain HiWatts

Stil a wee bit too compressed for my liking, but not too bad !
I will deff take it over a similar spec VHT or something like that !
Sdaly, there are no good demo's of these amps on Youtube.

I want another 100 watt amp just to have one on hand although I rarely need one these days. I might consider a Hiwatt.

I used to have an early 80's Hiwatt and it blew me away every time I plugged into it...ran it into an older (late 60's) Marshall cab with original G12M25's and got a screaming tone from that.

However, some years later I ran up on my first real vintage Hiwatt...like claytonc, amazing amps!

odd enough i had the same experience with the same amps roughly... in my friends studio he had a 5150 stack and a 76 Hiwatt 50 watt stack... once the Hiwatt was fired up it cut threw the 5150's sound like a knife... quite interesting!!!

interesting. the 5150 is like small and square, the hiwatt is BIG and round.
