Bareknuckle nailbomb bridge pickup
swirl paint job, bubble 3d effect.

for funzies... what strings would you use on this? What amp? What would you name her?

Im actually still in the process of naming her so if you suggest a good one, i might use it, and give you credit. :):bling: :cool2: :14:

dahell is that thing under the bridge?

it is a midi controller. I use it to control a kaoss pad or digiwhammy, and it can be used for other things. Matthew Bellamy from Muse uses it, its crazy fun. It helps take music to a whole new level. I love it.

You built a guitar with an XY interface and you need an amp suggestion?

I would call it "I Play Muse Covers."

haha wise guy. I said for "Funzies", as in what would you choose if this was you. I have my set up complete. I play 3 songs from muse, the rest are my own ideas. He brought this style to a fame, yes, but he doesnt own every idea and new song that would come from it.

you are correct, if you want it done you have to do it yourself, or find a good local shop.

Re: My custom made guitar - what do you think?

How much would one of those things cost to install in a MIM tele for example?

Your better off building one from the bottom up. A mim tele would be a nice toy. It's cheaper and safer so as to not make a mistake and ruin your mim tele. Will prob cost about 3000 to be made.

Re: My custom made guitar - what do you think?

I see a few extra switches but no mention of built in effects. Did you install a Fuzz Factory and Phase 90 or are they strictly for the sustainer/killswitch?

Re: My custom made guitar - what do you think?

It's fugly. And I think contemplating a name for it is downright stupid, as is naming a guitar.

Re: My custom made guitar - what do you think?

I would name her "Wow, I hope you only play Muse, because that's all it's good for."

And for amps, well I'd worry about getting like 8 billion effects before amps come into play.

i did not install a fuzz factory or phase 90, i just have those as pedals. i contemplated doing that but chose to not follow matts example to the exact point. I like his style, and i guess its safe to say he invented this method, or this variation of using it. I have my own ideas, but obviously they are stemmed from watching and seeing him.

Re: My custom made guitar - what do you think?

A used Kaoss Pad from ebay would be $100.

If you're handy with a soldering iron then you could install it yourself. Lots of youtube videos about this.

this is true, but tricky, so be careful. This however is not a kaoss pad installed in, it is a midi controller. You can however install a kaoss pad i believe, directly if needed.

Your kind of a one track minded fellow? How is it only good for playing muse? Muse opened up a new genre, a new level of playing. Its inspiring, and motivating me to come up with my own view, still very much influenced by them. They are brilliant. 3 men can sell out entire venues. Thats amazing.
Thats as ridiculous as saying to whoever bought and started using the 2nd guitar ever made. "I hope you only play what the first guy started playing, because thats all its good for."
Widen your imagination.. Also playing music is a hobby. If you enjoy playing, even if its covers, then play. Its an art. :)

Which MIDI controller is this? Do you have a link?
