So I decided to go barebones with my Classic 30. My compressor, a SD-1, a dBucket setting on my timeline, and a phaser from my Mobius and I was jammiing pretty well!! Im loving the setup so far. Pretty nice for a small compact setup. All I need now is a retube kit and a speaker swap!! Cant believe I have been around these amps all my life and just now playing one!!

The clean tone is mint; not so much a fan of the gain sound, tho. Sounds really 2 dimensional and not a lot of harmonic complexity to it at all.

Understandable. I doing a speaker swap and the tubes are in need of changing. I can tap the power tubes and here them distantly. I believe they are the original tubes.

nice playing but it would be much better as an amp demo if you close mic'ed the amp and didn't use any pedals

Nice playing, sounds nice too. What did you record it with? The sound quality was pretty good for a camera or phone.

It was my iPhone. Not too bad but could be a lot better. I'm thinking about getting a Rode XY mic for my iPhone.

Wow that came out great. I have an iPhone 5 and when I record amps with it it usually doesn't sound very good to me. Maybe I have it too close or something.

The tweed Peavey's are great amps! I have a Delta Blues with a 15" speaker and I love it.
