Nice Work!!

I found it easy to listen to, which is sometimes difficult with an instrumental track. I agree with some of the above ref's to Vai and Bratta, but I'll throw in something else. It had a sort of movie soundtrack quality in a Steve Stevens, F-14 launching off the end of a carrier, kind of way. :unitedsta :unitedsta

Where's the CD?

Thanx, Matt, my man! It's funny you should mention the soundtrack connection, because that's one of my favourite types of music. In the band, I'm always trying to create musical 'pictures' ... kinda trying to marry my love of 80's shred with my love for prog rock and movie soundtracks. There's an upcoming interview I did for Metal Maidens in the Netherlands, and I touched on that a bit more in-depth.

Just PM me your snail mail addy and I'll send a CD right out to ya!! :D

Well, this is what I really like about your playing TO, your ability to mix all the bells and whistles of fast modern playing without ever loosing any musicality and melody.

Totally professional and awesome playing, very creative and melodic. We're not even in the same ball park bro :)

Thanx, Nun! Don't listen to it too much! I'm not super psyched with a lot of the stuff on there! These jams are a good way to try different playing styles ...

Re: My First Rid Jam!!

Very fresh. Nice to get away from the typical shred over backing tracks. Always melodic, always phrasing, it's perfect. Great tone as well! Actually, I think I'm going to take another listen.
