That's hot.

I've had a love-hate relationship with PRS. My first real ''good'' guitar was a CE24, and I ended up selling to get into Gibsons since I could find my tone there. As soon as I played the Gibsons though, they wouldn't hold up as well in gigs. So now, I went back to PRS, and for now it's working.

They are certainly polarizing guitars.

I had a love/hate thing with them for a long time too. My friend started playing PRS a few years ago. He has a 513 and a custom24.......My on the other hand, ive always liked and played les pauls and swore Id never pick up a PRS ever. Well this past summer I had a chance to trade for an '89 PRS Custom24 and it is amazing. My Les Paul still has the tone that no other guitar can beat, but the PRS stays in tune so much better, it plays much easier and the quality is outstanding.

Ive even had a thought of selling my LP custom and getting an SC245 or something, but I don't think Ill ever do that lol

That thing has a classic look.

I've rolled with a C22/trem for a long time. I'd love to have a stop-tail like that for counterpoint.

ya im not a big trem guy. Stop tail for me for sure. I do like that they have added the tuno bridge though, I always thought just the wrap-around tailpiece looked kinda silly

that one is sure sharp!! Im strange when it comes to PRS'. great eye candy, but most Ive played have not really tripped my trigger. BUT, there have been about 2 out of maybe 30 that have REALLY blown my mind.. One of the most recent that really impressed me was a SE Dave Navarro.

I've played decent PRS guitars. But I just can't get past their incredibly ugly looks. Every model is just plain ugly. And they aren't enough better than anything else to warrant playing an ugly guitar.

Come on now, get off the fence and tell us what you really think...

That looks real sweet Chris, I hope you get it if its ticking all the boxes! My number 1 for many years was my LP std but since I put a Brobucker in my PRS its lost top spot and I doubt anything is going to knock it off!

I feel like this is written in a language I don't speak.

Anytime you're near Brum mate give me a shout, you're more than welcome to come and try it out!

Cheers, I might have to take you up on that sometime! Especially as you also have the Cornfords too :D

I'd keep the LP Custom, sell the vintage PRS for top dollar, and go new/used PRS shopping.

Re: My first, serious GAS attack in years.....PRS content

Is that a bound fretboard? I'm not used to using that on PRS guitars... or is it just the way the pic looks?
