In my Tele I've got a 5/2 neck and a floor shop custom Alnico 2 Broadcaster.
It all depends on personal taste. Personally I like Alnico 2 pups, thus my bridge pup. That said the 5/2 is a GREAT pup. Lots of wamth, but also a nice bubbly response with no low end flub. One day I'll try a 5/2 in the bridge too. I think my ideal will be a slightly overwound 5/2.....I've just got to pony up the cash and order it!
