My Frankenstrat progress

Woof I can't even tell you the amount of researching I've done, COUNTLESS hours man. On a tight budget. I'm ordering the last few parts, and I've got an Invader coming in soon!

I plan on doing a simple setup, 500k volume pot, the one Invader.

Onto what I have: The body is a '98 MIM, and the neck is a '97 Fernandes, scored both of em for a great price. Check it out, let me know what you think! :)

Looks great! I'm working on one myself that'll be done in a couple of weeks.

I knew I'd enjoy it, but I didn't realize how MUCH I'd enjoy it, as I'm sure you are as well... great score! :fing2:

You know, I wanted a solid color at first, and I actually was opposed to sunburst. But I saw the body on ebay for cheap and I just had to snag it.

Hey there, I thought it would be worth it to necromance this thread. Above is my completed Strat (finished it a while ago and that pic is old as well.) RIP my dog (passed away last Februrary.) :)

Sorry about your dog.

Sort of weird they did a 'plywood burst' on the back- Not that it matters. Pearloid pickguard/black hardware? Good call, goes with the sunburst.

Interestingly enough I like how the back burst looks more than the front, haha! Hey thanks man, we adopted another little guy a couple months ago. Yeah man, black and pearloid, I thought it came together nicely! :)

Sure thing, I'll post more pics when I get home! The guitar is finished as of now, but I am thinking about adding to it in the future! :)
