That was almost correct, Teemu's solo is in the second track, but that's called "In Vain". I played the guitar solo in "Blind Seer" and our other shred master Samuli played solo in track "Euphory Amplified".

Teemu just owns us both :notworthy

Haha, sorry dude! I'll fix that right away I know Jarmo from upper secondary school and it's great to hear from you guys! I've waited for your EP/Album for a long time. Not a huge power metal fan but your work is just great.

The growls in the Blind seer are there because our ex singer arranged most of the vocals (at least the rhythms, he also wrote almost all of the lyrics) and we didn't want to **** it up too much. Our other songs don't have that many growls and in the future we try to keep the **** clean with high pitched screams, cause thats the thing our singer handles pretty well. We are gonna record a new song in early 2012 and maybe a music video for it.

Very cool stuff...reminds me a little bit of Ayreon, might just be the keyboards doing that. The riffs are badass, production is awesome.

Also, regarding the growls: I say keep them in. There are not nearly enough super heavy power metal bands, and that extra bit of extremity, intensity, gruffness, or whatever you want to call that characteristic of not really belonging in "traditional power metal" is a great addition to the sound.

My old band did something similar, we had lots of power metal-inspired riffs and music, but the vocals was a lot of growling and screeching, supplemented with clean vox.

Another band around here plays straight up FAST power metal, but with growled vocals. Very similar to Quebec band Blackguard (although their influences also include folk metal)

In stuff that has growls I prefer lower growls (very occasionally like with Scream Aim Fire by Bullet For My Valentine) with lots of clean vocals especially in choruses much more then screamy strained voice metal stuff. The production is sweet though and good riffs.
