So I assume you like ESP and LTD right?

Very nice guitars man. I dig the collection.

Re: My guitars, past and present

Haha, yeah, you must really like ESP! I like 'em, especially the Laney you've got there. :)

Hehe, yeah, I'm definitely an ESP fanboy. I've got my eye on a couple more, actually. The Laney is actually on my to-sell list. It's a nice amp, and I'd recommend the Lionheart to anyone into the blues, but I'm restricted to headphones through the computer lately, so it's gotta go : private:

Oh man, that sucks! How much do they go for normally?

Re: My guitars, past and present

I think they're something like $2200 aussie dollars new. Not sure what that is in actual money for you American guys.

My latest score: a crimson Caparison TAT2 with Screamin' Demon bridge and Jazz neck :)

Very cool man. Which is your favorite of all the ones you've played?

Re: My guitars, past and present

That's a really tough call :-\

The Vintage Plus served me well for a long time, but I eventually got really frustrated with its stratty sound, dealing with pickguards, and the fact you have to take off the neck to adjust the truss rod.

The Gus G was phenomenal, and really was in a class of its own, and while it was surprisingly comfortable, it's not quite as natural-feeling to me as the strat shape. It was probably the best guitar, being a customshop model and all, but somehow not my favourite.

So I guess it's a tossup between the M2 Maples (I have two now) and the TAT. The M2s have the most amazing-feeling unfinished maple neck and feel a bit more solid and hefty, but the TAT has much better upper-fret access and has a tone knob (which I sometimes appreciate). Tone-wise, the TAT sounds a bit fatter and heavier, but it's hard to say how much of that is down to pickups. I'm probably going to pick up another TAT after NAMM :D
