My jb custom wound pickup is here!!!

Hey everyone, today it arrived, its a custom wound JB tap pickup, Wound by MJ at seymour duncan.
Its a 6 conductor pickup that allows you 2 humbucker modes, alnico 5 mag, one at regular JB (16.4k)k, and the second modde at 9.6k, using a push pull pot.

I got her used, the guy wanted a screamin demon and a jb, so he had this made fror him.
Curious to hear that second (9.6k) mode

I Know ive posted about it before, but now i finally have it

its new home is going to be in a 86 Kramer Baretta.

I CANT WAIT TO HEAR THIS THING!!!!!
IVE NEVER BEEN SO ANXIOUS!!!

so, you've got coilTAP, and coilSPLIT! wow, cool man :) really awesome :) nice and diverse.

Nice but I would have went with a reverse zebra as they came that way in Kramer Barettas.

Please let us know which modde sounds better in that Guitar.

i know, i was thinking the same thing, its used, but this is what came up, and i felt like id never see a pickup like this again....so therefore ''impulse buy''!!!

It was a great price too.




i heard custom shop pickups sound sound slightly better then the regular runs.....true?

Could be, after all MJ is a true master winder.

I don't know whether it's called mojo or magic or technique or whatever but all the pickups I got from MJ have always been nothing less that inspiring to play and keep on playin!!!
