Sweet...I´d lose the Kahler nut, though. It´s not serving any purpose except being an extra 2 friction points ;)

Nice one man.. say is that knob a normal Gibson one? Looks so special somehow...

Charvel model 4s have the best neck I have ever played.
I am biased, I own one.
That one looks gorgeous dude! SuperDistorsion and Alder... Must get you quite a bright tone? Tell us how it plays!
I also love the color. What strat does the body come from?

That is a very clean and great looking axe bra.... I dig it.

Thank you guys!
The Kahler nut is coming off, Zerb..its actually acting as a string bar at the moment without it the strings jsut seemed to "high" and odd looking, but I bought a chrome bar to replace it today. The Knob is a Gibson knob...it does kind of "fit" eh?
The body is a MIM....Im using a 250K pot so it really isnt too bright...has a cool tone....and a great split clean sound too.

Coll looking guitar!

I've never seen a nut like that before.
Is that a locking nut behind the regular nut? Maybe I could put that on my highway 1 strat and go nuts with the trem without going out of tune. Would that work?

Re: My Latest Project...Charvel, well, sort of...(PICS)

It's a Kahler locking device. I don't know about using it with a vintage trem, but it could help. Kahler is back in business, so you can buy new parts again. They have one of the locking devices that just flips open, so you don't need to keep an allen wrench handy. Here's the link for it:
http://www.kahlerparts.com/X_Pages/X_Stringlocks.htm
And if you're interested in an older lock, I have one lying around that's missing a few parts (could be ordered from Stewmac-same parts as Floyd lock nuts) that I could send you.

Docrock, that's an awesome guitar. I'm planning on getting something similar, a Charvel neck on some sort of superstrat body.

very nice...all i would have done different was an angled hum just to make it more 80s lol...but it looks great i hope you enjoy it!

Very cool... looks A LOT better maple :)
+1 I like it better with the maple fretboard, combine the charvel headstock with that with a maple fretboard and it'll add some unholy points IMO
