My lovely new practice amp - Orange Micro Terror

This thing rocks! Got mine today and have already logged some decent playing time into it. Good things come in small packages - here it is next to my Bogner for size comparison.

PROS:
Great tone you'd come to expect from Orange
Cleans are surprisingly very pristine and clear
Surprisingly very loud for only 20 watts!
The 12AX7 preamp tube gives the gain some decent kick to it.

Cons:
With only one tone knob, the tones are very very limited. It's a good tone for sure, but it's by no means versatile! If you need an amp with more options, it probably isn't for you.
If you want a "heavy" amp, this isn't for you. But it's a Terror series and you probably already knew that.

Maybe I'll try and record some clips from it this week. I can't wait to bring this to band practice and try it on my oversized 2x12. I doubt it will cut through the band volume, but it'll be fun to try anyway. Seriously, for $150, or $250 for both the head and cab, this is well worth the cash IMO.

Here is a pretty good demo video.

I got 1 of these a few weeks ago too and I think you may be surprised by how loud it can be through an oversized 2x12 (mine has V30s) :D

My plan for it was to use it as a gig backup incase a valve blows in my main amps, but I'm really pleasantly surprised by how good it sounds! :friday:

Very nice. The SS power amp scared me away at first, but some of the reviews im reading on this makes me think this may be a cool amp anyways.
