I just finished my complete overhaul of my 2003 fender highway one strat using matched 250k cts pots, new 5 way switch, .022 orange drop cap. with vintage hot stack plus (stk-s7) in the neck--vintage rails in the middle, and hot stack plus (stk-s9) in the bridge. I also used all cloth wiring for a (vintage) look under the pick guard. this guitar is now the best sounding guitar i have ever held in my hands. I am amazed at the difference in the sound over the stock pickups. the s9 bridge pickup is a beast for sure and the s7 in the neck has the cleanest and smoothest lowes and mids i have ever heard. very smooth. the vintage rails is a very nice pickup also but is a little to muffled when the tone knob is turned up. im thinking of switching the tone knob from my middle pickup to the bridge pickup. I love messing with these things under the hood, im kinda wondering what it would sound like if i switched the middle and neck pickups.

Just wondering, why did you go with the Vintage Rails instead of the Classic Stack Plus (STK-S4)?

That's awesome.. always wanted a highway one. And to test out the pickups you have in. I'm just kinda stuck on the dirt of a bucker though.
