My new amp is "out for delivery"

I'm having a hard time writing this post. The page is slow or something. Anyway.

I'm waiting for my new amp to show up. Nothing super mega awesome, just a Blackstar
HT-5RH head.

I hope it is going to be a lot of fun for late night playing with some higher gain sound at low volume.

Anyone here have any experience with the HT-5RH head?

Feedback appreciated.

Re: My new amp is "out for delivery"

Well the amp is here, warming up in the box. I'll let it sit in the box for another hour or so before I open it. It is super cold here today and was super cold last night. The amp has been freezing. I don't want to mess it up by pulling it out of the cold box into 90 degree (F) temperature - wood stove. Nice and warm in here.

I'm recovering from surgery and am taking it easy.

Udate later.

Happy NAD :)

Got it. It's hooked up and running. I have been checking it out and it is quiet enough to work well for my purposes. I'm surprised how good the clean channel sounds. I have it hooked up to a very nice Avatar vintage style cabinet with twin "Swamp Thang" Eminence speakers and I must say that it is sounding good. I just started messing around with the overdrive channel and that is going to work well too.

Right now I'm trying to upload a picture.

Well, from photobucket to here it somehow disappears.

After transferring the picture from my tablet to my PC and then uploading it to photobucket; then attaching it to this message - here is my first picture of the amp.

This is it in its new home.

Note: the picture will no show up. Anyone know why? It is also hard to type into the message box. It's slow.

Do I see that you have a Marshall "Slash SL5" amp? Or am I misunderstanding what the initials stand for?

If you're asking me, the SSL-5 in my signature is the bridge pickup in my guitar. A Seymour Duncan SSL-5 Custom for strat

Freezing cold NADs no fun. Wait till you warm it up. The tone should really expand!
