Thank you very much!

I dig the 2 pup/5-way config, btw. Makes a bass a lot more versatile than just a one pup deal.
Yeah, the regular Stingray was $100 less, but I thought it was well worth it to get 4 other variations in sound. Even the traditional version of the Stingray splits the humbucker. They are 2 different axes though, the body is shaped different.

Bah to versatile:D
Musicmans just sound great with that bad humbucker boy there!

They do hold their own w/just the humbucker, but your are limited to that "one" great sound, and that is it.
If I hadn't sold my J-bass I might've gotten the single humbucker, might not have...why bring more than one bass to a gig, if you don't have to?

I saw this thing a few days ago, and even Musicman said they were getting bored creating the same basses over and over. Now they have dual humbuckers, Bongo Basses, all kinds of great stuff.... I would've conidered the Bongo but I hate the spacing on 5 strings.

Btw, I will NOT be replacing the Music Man bass pickups w/aftermarket ANYTHING ;)

By the way, nice bass!

How is getting used to the difference in the nut width between the Jazz and this?

very nice bass and judging from the MMs i've tried so far it should be killer.
But i think they ripped you off...it's missing one or two strings ;)

I'll trade you my first born for that! Give me like 9 months to get something together. I wonder what company is better for shipping children? Screw it... I'll just slap a stam on its head and drop it in the mail.

I wonder if they make these with a P bass pup in the neck spot? Then it would be perfect (for me).

I had a 5 string in the past...I really don't like them, I am a 4 string player, all the way. It feels like extra baggage...they had a 5 string Musicman Bongo for the same price...

I didn't even have to get used it, it feels more comfortable than the Jazz Bass. I have owned a Stingray in the past, and regretted getting rid of it.

I guess it might, depending on how it splits. The neck does have a very P-Bassy sound to it...that and/or the 4th split posiiton.

Thanks for the comments, guys. :)
