---Well, this HAMER MONACOELITE is the BEST guitar I've EVER played--better than the 2 GIBSON lespauls I owned, a little better than the US JACKSONS I have, & better than the CARVINS I have & have owned---I've played almost everything supposedly good.
--The CHAMBERED BODY makes this guitar weigh 7 lbs.(lightweight) AND I think improves the sound(I havn't tried a non-chambered Monaco), it's a customshop option I would've gotten & makes this axe EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE...
The SOUND is the best I've played & heard BUT it's the first time I've tried a Seymour CUSTOMCUSTOM(bridge)--it sounds so perfect, HAMER really made a good choice w/this pickup...The CUSTOM(neck) is good also.
The NECK & FRETS are simply perfect & I dont think can be improved BUT I think I'll get it set-up by a TECH & put my 10-52 strings on it. The RADIUS is lika a lespaul(12") & feels very comfortable.
The attention to detail is great & the 14 coats of handrubbed lacquer looks like A SHEET OF GLASS over the AAAflamed maple.
Even the WIRING is the best I've seen, the neatest wiring job ever(couldn't be cleaner)----I dont think I'll change the pickups(they sound fine) cause the wiring is SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL(I've changed pickups in EVERY guitar I've had several times over, in search of the perfect tone, like you all)--BUT I"M NOT GONNA TOUCH THESE ELECTRONICS, THEY'RE TOO PRETTY!!!
I really think this guitar is the one I'm gonna get buried with--til death do us part---I've NEVER felt that way about any guitar I've owned & I gotta tell ya it feels good(but it wasn't cheap & I dont care)....ya only live once, life is too short, so get a HamerUSA(or somethin like that)--
