My new(ish) Vox $*&T the bed :o(

Went to turn the ADT50 on yesterday and it started making this extremely loud (even with the volume at minimum) popcorn popping sound and the speaker was going absolutely nuts. Did it last night as well. :yell:

I bought the extended warranty at GC which in retrospect was a dumb move, cos now I'd just like to get something else anyway...it's a nice sounding amp, but I'm finding I want something different than what it models..which is mostly classic sounds, plus I don't care for the effects really, and the 50 watt has no FX loop for my delay pedal.

And it's out of the 30 day return policy..so have to get it fixed first...

Crap...back to the drawing board. :smack:

a little off topic here but i bought a $10 mouse at compUSA yesterday and they asked me if i wanted damage protection on it! lol, sucks to hear bout ur amp? did it have a manufactures warranty on it?
