So what do you guys think about this purdy thing? I needed a cheap backup guitar that with some pickup changes and a set up would be amazing. Here it is! Played one for a whole day yesterday through my equipment to make shure it felt good. Yes it is purple and dag gum it, it' beautiful and costing me nothing! God bless girlfriends! What do you guys think? :offtopic: Plus maybe you could throw some pickup combinations at me including other companies? Thanks. :dance:

I thought about getting the Floyd Rose licensed model. That finish is just crazy beautiful. good buy!

I like it. :) I'm also thinking about getting myself the Floyd model. Just one question, does it have enough space inside the control cavity to install a second pot?

I guess I'm one of those people that just needs a tone control. :burnout:

Well, it's not exactly here yet, it was got off ebay just today. When I get it I will be putting a full review on the forum for people to read.

For your style of music, I would recommend the same set I've been mentioning here and there: a Bare Knuckle Miracle Man in the bridge, and an Alnico V Miracle Man in the neck ... it will probably exceed the cost of the guitar, tho, so I don't know how you would feel about that.

For American made pickups, I would say: Demon in the bridge! Neck is anyone's guess.

TO, those are rediculously expensive to me haha. Way to much and would well excede the cost of the guitar. Anything else?

Very nice guitar. My cousin has one and loves it. Probably the best you can get in that price range. Very good purchase.

I know you aren't trying to copy his sound, and I don't really know exactly what you're looking for, but EVH used a Fernandes Sustainer in the neck of one of his during this last tour. It sounded really cool, something you might be able to use. It's a bit different than the usual pup suggestions. I don't know if they have any sound clips on their site, but I'm sure some of the guys on here could help you out with that part.
