Going with either a Honey or teaburst! Not sure when its going to be done but not much longer. I'm not too fussy with the color so either will be fine. I just wanted to be able to see those wonderful stripes through the finish....

The Desert burst is too dark. I have a 85 335 that is a Vintage burst so the Desert burst would be too close to that. I also have a 359 that is very similar so I was trying to avoid the same contrast in colors. I think either the Tea or Honey burst should be just fine.

Well after discussing the finish with a good buddy of mine he suggested that I leave it natural. I thought about this for a few days and then emailed the builder to see what he thought. He got back to me and said the Honey/Tea burst is already on it & it looks great. Now we just wait!:headbang:

Brian does such fantastic work!
He took my old 335, that most folks were suggesting I scrap for parts and made it into one of the best electric guitars I've ever played...I can only imagine what he can do with a build from scratch!
