I spent some time wiring up my new custom pumaboard pedalboard today and i'm BEYOND happy. Kevin at www.pumaboards.com was great to deal with and let me send him my own fuzzy leopard material that matches the inside of my Clone guitars cases to use on he board. he did a KILLER job building this board, the build quality is second to NONE. i've seen trailer trash boards and i'd take a pumaboard over them any day (which i did). i had him build me the biggest board he makes at 36x15. on the left side it has 3 nuetrik locking jacks a pair for the FX loop send and return and one for the input of the amp. on the righ side it has a power plug that takes any extension cord to power the pedal power II+ which is mounted safe and neat under the board. the whole top of the board is covered in a material that is like the soft side of velcro so on the bottom of all the pedals i put the hook side and i could put the pedals anywhere i want and move them if needed. i chose to wire mine real neat all through the board using george Ls so you don't see any wires all over the place.
the signal chain goes...
guitar...tu2...oc2...whammy...morley wah...tube zone OD...MXR flanger...bullseye script phaser...ISP....amp input
in the loop are the DL4 delay and my custom "hot rod" delay.
the tube zone can be swapped out for my bad monkey or Rat Fink (rat clone) but i LOVE that tube zone so i don't think it will move off the board much if ever to be honest.
everything worked perfect right off the bat with no odd noises or anything like that....and it sounds killer!
i'm beyond happy now and can't thank Kevin at pumaboards enough for his kick ass work on one crazy board!
oh and yes it's leopard print and fuzzy and yes i may be nuts LOL...but i love it!
