My NS-2 is killing everything

And I do mean everything. All I have is guitar --> NS-2 --> JSX. Nothing else. When the NS-2 is on, it completely kills any amount of balls I have. When it's off, it's all good. I thought the Roland battery that came with the pedal was just bad, so I pitched and replaced it..same results. Both threshold and decay are all the way down.

What in the hell is going on here?

Technically, yes, it does. It doesn't work all that well, but it's there. I have the noise gate on it completely dialed down to nothing and still getting these results. This is a bummer. :(

No such luck. I can get the dish washer working again by the ways of the Fonz, but not this pedal. It seems to be a stubborn piece of **** as of this moment.

Re: My NS-2 is killing everything

Just tried the effects loop thing...no dice. I even left it unplugged for a number of minutes before plugging it back in (now back between guitar and amp). It seems to work fine for a minute or so, then it slowly starts to degrade my signal until it almost completely cuts out everything. This is still with the threshold and decay knobs down to nothing.

Faulty unit perhaps?

Re: My NS-2 is killing everything

I can only imagine its faulty. Have you tried it with any other amp? I have never had any of the things you described when i used a noisegate. Maybe try another battery aswell, if its on its way out i dunno what that could do. Best of luck
