My Orange Micro Dark is acting strangely with my Boss ME-80

I have a Micro Dark paired up with an ME-80 and I just plugged everything back together (not in the wrong way because i label my cables and leave most of the cables alone) and it sounds muted, like how it sounds when the ME-80 is off and I turn on the amp. Could it be a problem with my D’Addario cables? The effects loop on my amp? Or an issue with the ME-80? I’ve had the Micro Dark for two years, ME-80 for three, cables for a year and a half. Any help is appreciated.

Do you have another amp to test the Boss on? The Boss has many settings, so any one of them could be causing the issue. What if you plug into the Boss and then the Orange, but bypass all of the effects on the Boss? Does it sound like you are plugging directly into the Orange?
