My pedal board is humming

Re: My pedal board is humming

Like I said, its an attempt to eliminate every last wall wart from a large, complex board.

If you've got a couple of line 6 pedals, and an eventide, and a whammy, some regular old 9 volt stuff... maybe some weird old fuzz pedal that's 9 volts positive center... and something nutty like a Pigtronix or EH box that takes 15 volts... that's a lot of different requirements which leads to a bunch of of wall warts.

The Versa should eliminate all that... but there's been at least one design that was entirely scrapped for the bigger box there with something like 15 or 16 outputs! Over the summer I heard it, and the ISO would be shipping soon. The ISO was just released so who knows...

All the info I have is second & third hand from people that are closer to the source...

That said, I'm totally happy with the PP2+ though I did have to get a daisy chain cable to power everything on my large board. I need two outputs with a parallel cable for the UniVibe which is 18 volts, one is dedicated to an EH Hazari delay... 8 outs goes pretty quick! Its got power to spare though, unlike the Brick which I found out only supplies 350ma to the 9 volt outs and not the 1000 they advertise!!!

That was part of my problem... overtaxing that thing for many years.
