you lucky beta testing sonuva....

nah seriously, that's a very nice collection of pure tone right there!

Re: My Pedalboard in it's final phase. Pics!

I'm really digging the Deja Vu. It's a purer tone than my Line 6 DL-4, and takes up less real estate. I hadn't heard the Double Back in awhile, and when I beta tested it, I wasn't sure it was something I really needed, but now that I'm messing with it, I'm very pleased with the thickness and leveling it provides.

After cleaning all the pedals and positioning them on the board, I realized I made one mistake.....my tuner blocked the PP2 power jack! Duh! I may have to velcro it onto the top of the PP2. Luckily, my pedalboard's lid is deep enough to clear it when attached.

I can't wait to run the Deja Vu in stereo out to the Bogner and Matchless. Then, I'll really see how lush it sounds.

i know your feeling man. I recently completed my pedal board, or at least as you say, as close to completion as its been. I made a few changes since i posted pics not so long ago and there is still one spot up for debate but in general, its a done deal...

...and a great feeling.

Re: My Pedalboard in it's final phase. Pics!

Bro

Your still missing a Univibe, Pitch Shifter and a Phaser :D

There's no room for them, but 2 pedals I wish I hadn't sold were my early gold Fulltone Deja Vibe and EH Q-Tron. But I usually sell whatever I don't have on my board.

Anyone wanna buy a Line 6 Modulation Modeler....the blue one? $100 shipped in the US.

Re: My Pedalboard in it's final phase. Pics!

I've lately been thinking that I haven't seen much of updates from your board for a long time.

But when it comes, dang.. Nice!

Re: My Pedalboard in it's final phase. Pics!

Great board GJ, I think i'd be pretty darn happy too! :cool2:

Re: My Pedalboard in it's final phase. Pics!

Joe, would you be prepared to maybe ship the Modulation Modeller to the UK? ;)

Re: My Pedalboard in it's final phase. Pics!

I like it, portable, and through those amps I bet it sounds great

Re: My Pedalboard in it's final phase. Pics!

i wonder why you have the Comp after the OD's.... does it sound better there?

nice board... i'd love to give one of those ADA Flangers a test drive...

I almost never have 2 gain pedals on at a time, so the only time that compressor will be on is if I'm playing choppy funk type riffs where I want everything leveled.

I specifically have the Fuzz's before the Wah though, just because it sounds best.

The ADA can do some cool sounds, but I tend to have it set for a trippy underwater type sound, moreso than a sweeping jet engine effect.

I've heard a lot of chorus pedals that beat the Choralflange, but I'm not really into chorus. I use it more for a Leslie type sound.

Jeremy, which setting do you normally use on the Double Back....Hi, Mid, or Low? I haven't really messed with it much yet. I think I set it at Mid, with most of the knobs around 12:00.

The the Deja Vu is really an awesome delay pedal. Being able to choose a cleaner digital sound vs. a murky tape delay, and mix between them, and add modulation.....great features! And the True Bypass/trailing delay switch on top! I want to check out the options for inserting other FX into it as well. I'll spend more time with it tonight.

As for the Fuzz Face.....it's basically the best of all the Dunlops, made to the same specs as Hendrix's I presume. My only complaint is the lack of a DC power jack.....but it's era correct. They look cool and sound good, but if you want to save some space and have 9V DC, I'd probably look at the Keeley Fuzz Head first.

Nice Board! Is that the setting you run on your shapeshifter? The rate is maxed out! :eyecrazy:

I'd like to hear what you do with all that stuff and the matchless. That's gotta be fun.

I knew someone would notice that. I pretty much cleaned all my pedals, vacuumed the carpet with a Dust Buster, put it together, and took it outside for photos. All the knobs got knocked outta whack. :cool2:
