Trader beware.

IndianScout/Steve has a well-documented history of screwing people over.

Google is everyone's friend here.

Specifically all the crap you've pulled over on Harmony Central.

You're moniker won't be forgotten so soon.

Pro tip... If you're going to try to clear your name, at least go with a different alias/email address Steve.

Re: my pedals for your pickups..

no need to clear my name, I've done nothing, my pedal sold even with your post and is boxed ready for shipping..

Re: my pedals for your pickups..

This thread goes for 41 pages:

http://208.74.204.227/t5/Electric-Guitars/A-Real-S-77y-Deal/td-p/21950190

Same thing though, IndianScout promised to trade the same guitar to two different people.

I got this PM on the 14th:

--------------------------------------------------------

if you're interested I'll trade you a BOSS ME50 + Morley Optical Volume Pedal

Morley is BNIB, the BOSS is like new..

----------------------------------------------------

Then the ME-50 gets sold and shipped out on the 16th even though I agreed to the trade days before. Thankfully I didn't go first, and never would go first.

I understand that things do come up. I had a trade go bad once because I got super busy and the box of pedals that the guy sent me needed to be tested. One was missing the power adapter, one had a broken battery connector, and they all were in pretty lousy condition. I was trading a mint condition guitar for them, and was pretty annoyed that I would have to repair one pedal and order a power adapter just to test another. Two days pass and the guy had freaked out on the forum where I did the trade, and all sorts of people jump into the thread denouncing and threatening me. I ended up sending his pedals back, but since he was a regular on that forum, I ended up looking like the bad guy, and my apologies and excuses weren't accepted. I even accepted the blame, and just stopped going to that forum. Yes, all forums have their "bros" that stick together, and this one is no exception.

But when you can do a Google search and find multiple instances of a guy being a bad trader on multiple forums, then you can probably assume that something's wrong.

Hey look! It's the Honest Injun!

I'd call him a con artist but that wouldn't be fair to the con artists I know.

Re: my pedals for your pickups..

An observation.

This quotation ...

and you're proof I've ever taken a thing

... and some of the paragraphs quoted in the thread about the red Schecter are riddled with spelling and punctuation errors. Coincidence? :scratchch
