I had this El Dorado hardware for a long time & waited for the "right" Tele to put it on & stick with. I grabbed this Glendale Tele thru a trade quite a while ago, but life got in the way & I never got around to hooking it up.

SO, after seeing Andrew's work on a few other pickguards, I thought this was the right opportunity to hook this bad boy UP !

I need to trim off the copper shielding tape visible in the neck pickup pocket & I need to grab some gold screws....the stock silver didn't look right.

I had him do a regular guard & also an Esquire guard 'cause I think eventually, this beyotch needs the BG-1400 I've got hanging around.

A little gaudy, but I think it ooozes Tele :D

Looks killer! I was Andrews shop today when another dude came by to pick up a guard for a black G&L. It looks awesome Terry. Great job to Andrew too.

Been good C.....messing around with this Tele today on such a nasty day. This sucker plays so nicely, I'm wary about routing it etc for the BG, but it plays so well that it DESERVES to be bad a$$ !!! :D

too awesome. drizzle hooked me up with some awesome laser engraved neck plates. anything that guy does is golden.

Ok, whenever we do tele threads you have my permission to state I consider this the best looking tele in existence.

Thats good to hear man!

I hear ya on the routing...I have my BG1400 in a 54 reissue Esquire right now and it sits flat on the bottom of the route and is still too tall!

Butch, I wish I could play like you man. That would do this Tele well, but I'm more of a rocker, so the BG might be more suited to me.

I LOVE Tele neck pickups though, so that's what's holdng me back.

Thanks for the compliments folks, but I think the guard makes it & Andrizzle gets props for that :bigthumb:

Thanks for all the compliments bro... I'm really happy with how both your guards turned out man! Every time I see one of my guards on a guitar as good lookin' as yours it makes me wanna do a few more of these... actually thinkin about a website now.:scratchch Thanks again and I'm really glad you're digging it man... that's most important!
