I had this El Dorado hardware for a long time & waited for the "right" Tele to put it on & stick with. I grabbed this Glendale Tele thru a trade quite a while ago, but life got in the way & I never got around to hooking it up.
SO, after seeing Andrew's work on a few other pickguards, I thought this was the right opportunity to hook this bad boy UP !
I need to trim off the copper shielding tape visible in the neck pickup pocket & I need to grab some gold screws....the stock silver didn't look right.
I had him do a regular guard & also an Esquire guard 'cause I think eventually, this beyotch needs the BG-1400 I've got hanging around.
A little gaudy, but I think it ooozes Tele
