Congrats on the new Paul!

I bought one, also a '58 Plaintop from Guitar Center at the Memorial Day sale, and that guitar is just so sweet. Mine's washed cherry, and was also set-up very well, though I'm having some work done on the nut to smooth it out. I'm going to put Schaller Strap Locks on and play the heck out of it--even it the neck IS too big for my hand!

Yes, Joe is correct. Don't make the same mistake I did and sell that R8 (which is a beaut, btw! :bigthumb: )

Dumbest guitar move I ever made. It was neccessary financially...but man how I miss that guitar at times.
