Got my board in yesterday n spent the day getting it set n the velcro on and all that jazz. Apon first inspection the looks are beautiful. The shell is a sheet of metal of some sort that is nice n shiney with metal corners. Feels pretty sturdy with nothing in it. The carpet inside is ironically this black velvet stuff(works for me well!) and comes with a strip of velco the length of the case. Lip is like it says, one inch high. The latches on the board are top notch but have POS locks, but who uses em anyways. I put the pedals in, a channel switcher, Tubulator, Tuner, and Wah. The top part of the case didn't have enough foam in it to push the pedals down and keep them secure. This should be expected because all pedals are different. I constructed some bubblewrap to look nice and taped it securely in the lid, less on the wah side and more on the pedals side. After this everything was set! I did a trial run to see if they would hold because things get thrown around a lot in a touring band like mine. I kicked it, threw it, banged it against stuff n shook it violently. Opened it up and nothing had moved. I give this a 8 out of 10 because the framing can ALWAYS be more sturdy.....like for getting ran over.(seen it happen)

I think I am going to go with the large, as it will have wah, sfx-03, some kinda multi effect, volume, and a red box di. And maybe an EQ

Mind posting a pic of the setup?.. I've been looking to move past the old peice of furniture i've been using for a board :27:

Re: My review of the Rondo pedalboards....

I got one of those boards (large) over a year ago. It wasn't my first choice, but the price was right. I love it and it works very well for me. My only concern is that sometimes it feels a little flimsy, but it has helt up good so far.

Re: My review of the Rondo pedalboards....

I'm thinking about getting one of these. My recording area is messy... mostly because of pedals everyware.

Re: My review of the Rondo pedalboards....

I have a pedalboard case that i got from Rondo. It's function is more of a case instead of a pedalboard. Instead I cut a piece of plywood to those dimensions and attached my pedals to that board instead. I don't use velcro but drill throught the board and use cable ties. For one it makes for a lot sturdier base then the Rondo lid. Second, if it gets messed up I can just cut a new piece.
