man alive is it ever a beautiful pickup. this pickup replaced my fried dimarzio PAF pro. the a2p is very "percussive" and doesn't have that compressed nasal sound. by percussive i mean when i strum and stop, there's no "lag". it's very responsive. it's really balanced and harmonic. the sustain is amazing. this pickup makes the other pickups in the guitar sound horrible. i thought that an alnico 2 magnet might be "weak" but man it rocks hard.
i'm definately buying another one to place in my strat.
